Few weeks ago I found quite interesting project. Every week Crash Taylor interviews various photographers “whose work pushes the boundaries of our profession to create images that are emotional, edgy, original, and most of all capture a unique moment in time” – as he describes on his website.

I must say that I really got into it and read every single interview that showed up so far. Crash managed to surprise me twice recently.

Firstly, he posted an interview with Bartosz Jastal, Polish Wedding photographer. It is very nice for my to see Polish photographer right next to such people as Jeff Ascough or David Beckstead.

Secondly, last night he interviewed Michael Grecco, Portrait and Fashion Photographer. I’ve known Michael’s work since I got more interested in photography, especially fashion side of it. I was very impressed with his book “Lightning and Dramatic Portrait”. What’s more, it is an excellent exercise to analyse lightning set ups he uses for his work. Below is a short video clip of Michael at work.
