EDIT: photos from this shoot can be found in a post titled Editorial photo shoot with Lynsey.
“The third time lucky” – people tend to say. And this was true today.
Few weeks ago I got contacted by Beverley from Glam Production – modelling agency in Sheffield. After exchanging few emails, we set up a test photo shoot with one of the models from her agency.
To make the idea for the photo shoot working I wanted to have a nice, sunny weather, typical summer holiday day. Hmmm, how hard it can be in UK ?? It came out that it is too much to ask for even in July. We had to reschedule the photo shoot twice, each time because of rain.
Not today !!! Finally, we had few hours of good weather here in Sheffield. The photo shoot took place in Cusworth Hall near Doncaster and Lynsey really rocked it. It was a massive pleasure to work with her and I hope that we will work again some time.
Btw, Cusworth Hall is very nice place and I highly recommend visiting it, not only for taking pictures.
I already had a quick sneaky peek at pictures, and I know that selection process will be hard :)
I should work on photos tomorrow, so watch this space for pictures, I will post them shortly.
After the wedding we both put a bit of weight on, It’s a minus of dieting before the wedding and now wanting to eat everything in huge portions ;).
We wanted to have a nice afternoon walk and decided to go to Rufford Park, Nottinghamshire. We were positively surprise when we found out that this weekend there is On the Home front event. From Rufford Park website:
“Meet Prime Minister Churchill & General Montgomery, Land Army girls, military police, British soldiers and US paratroopers. See many period civilian and military vehicles, period picnics, and Allied troops with artillery practicing for D-Day with attacks against the ‘enemy’ (loud bangs and gunfire!). Watch the Fire Guard in action, and a hilarious wartime puppet show.”
I highly recommend visiting it today. The event is between 11am and 4.30pm. To encourage you a bit more here are some pictures I’ve taken yesterday.
