BIPP Wedding Photography Training Course

29Apr2009 Uncategorized

Today post will be short one as the amount of things I need to sort out recently is a bit overwhelming for me.

Yesterday I went to Aylesbury for a BIPP Wedding Photography Training Course. What a lovely and creative time I had over there and I met bunch of excellent photographers. The lecture was delivered by Pete Bristo, Yorkshire based Wedding Photographer. I must admit that I didn’t know much about Pete, when I booked the course, however, I saw his works two weeks ago at 2009 Yorkshire BIPP Print Competition and I knew straight away that it will be interesting meeting. Today I can confirm I was right ;).

First half of the day we spent listing to Pete. He talked us through all aspects of wedding photography, supporting everything with photos, so the presentation was nice and easy to remember. Then we went off to take some pictures, that’s what courses are about, aren’t they ;)

There was quite nice church right next to BIPP Headquarters and we spent there two hours being creative. Below are some backstage photographs of the day.

It’s inside of the church we had access to.

Easter break is over

16Apr2009 Uncategorized

Unfortunately, Easter break is over and we all have to get back to reality. On the other hand, it’s Thursday already and weekend is nearly here. I am really glad that it is short week, as I am still in Wales mentally.

It was our first visit there and I was blown away. This country is lovely and the scenery is one of the best I’ve ever seen. I cannot imagine that I haven’t been there before especially that it’s only 2 hours drive from Sheffield. We rented an old cottage where we spent each night sitting right next to fireplace, resting, chatting and enjoying good drinks. Weather was ideal, it was raining on our way to Wales, but it stopped before we got there. Then we had 3 days of sunshine (I even managed to get too much suntan on my forehead ;) ) and it got a bit cloudy on our way back to Sheffield. Days we were outdoor trying to visit as many places as possible in 3 days time. Below you have photos of Wales. Enjoy.
